“The newest project with an organic historian: the trio with guitar and hammond
This organic remembers the historical groups of Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Kenny Burrell…though it has strong roots in the tradition and mainly in these musicians and in the "bop", the trio plays in an extremely creative way and without any clichè and style definition. The presence of the hammond played by a great musician as Luca Mannutza generates unique colors and sounds . The trio is completed by the french drummer Aldo Romano, one of the historical names and more important of the European jazz musicians.”
Aldo Romano, was born in Italy, during the 50's moves in France where he collaborates with the best jazz musicians like Don Cherry, Dexter Gordon, Steve Lacy, Woody Shaw. In the 80's and 90's he is the drummer of the historical trio of Michel Petrucciani. Best successes of the trio: “Romano-Texier-Sclavis” and of the CD “Memories of Africa”. In 2004 the “price Jazzpar” gains. Currently it is one of the more important drummers than jazz of the European scene.
Alessio Menconi discovered when he was a boy by the best musicians with which he plays all over the world. Some of the more representative names:Billy Cobham, Danny Gottlieb, Daniel Humair, Enrico Rava, Marcio Montarroyos, Roberto Gatto, Dado Moroni, Carl Anderson, Albert "Tootie" Heath, Paolo Fresu... In pop/rock Paolo Conte, Anna Oxa, Gianni Morandi, Tullio De Piscopo, Alexia, Elio delle le Storie Tese, Cheryl Porter and many others.He played with these musicians in the more important festivals and theatres of the world in Europe, North and South America and Asia

Luca Mannutza,was born in Cagliari, where he studied piano in the Conservatory. In the 1999 he moves to Rome where he collaborated with the best musicians and participated in the more important international festivals like: Umbria Jazz, Italian Jazz to New York, Parc Floral of Paris. Currently is member of the High Five (Bosso- Scannapieco quintet), of Roberto Gatto quartet, the Trumpets of the King (Boltro - Bosso quintet), of the Fabrizio Bosso quartet.
