“TRIBUTE TO NAT KING COLE” (“DEAR NAT”) (Synopsis) “DEAR NAT” is a 2 hour concert tribute to the American Jazz legend Nat King Cole. The evening entitled “Tribute To Nat King Cole” presents a quartet of musicians inspired by the piano trio conception of the 1930’s, an era in which the original formula of piano, bass and guitar was born. This beautiful jazz concert builds a bridge between the classy music of yesteryear and of today. This project (an idea of the internationally known Italian jazz pianist Dado Moroni) is inspired as the title says, to Nat King Cole. This project pays homage to Nat’s particular style, as well as re-discovering the marvelous balance of the three fundamental instruments in jazz history. During the concert, history and anecdotes of the life of Nat King Cole are given to the audience in a musical and clever manor. Never a dull moment! The music has been arranged in an original way but with the highest respect for Nat King Cole. These arrangements are additionally highlighted by the voice of American international jazz singer and Broadway musical star Adrienne West, who in addition to singing, entertains the audience with colorful and amusing narrations of the life of one of the great icons of jazz music.
