HAMMOND TRIO (Menconi, Gurrisi, Minetto)

Alessio Menconi –guitar
Alberto Gurrisi – hammond
Alessandro Minetto – drums

“Project with an organic historical: the trio with guitar and hammond with a new cd called “Sketches of Miles” dedicated to the music of Miles Davis. This trio can not remember the historical groups of Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Kenny Burrell… but, despite having a base firmly rooted in tradition and in particular in these musicians and bop, the trio plays in an extremely creative and out from any kind of cliché and definition of styles. The trio made two cds:  “Sketches of Miles” and “Plays Ellington and Strayhorn”
